The Creative Crafters have been active since 2002. Our group uses donated yarn and fabrics to make mitts, toques, scarves, quilts, placemats, and many other items.
These items are sold at the Annual General Meeting, the Christmas Breakfast, and from our display cabinets in the Heritage Room, and on the concourse landing. All proceeds from the sales are turned over to the Seniors Management Board to use for events at the Nepean Seniors Center. The Creative Crafters is actually the major fundraiser for the Centre.
Every year we fill bags with warm clothes, toiletries, etc, and give these out to the homeless.
Please join us every Friday from 9 to 11 am in the Heritage Room. We will gladly teach those who are learning or refresh old skills.
Membership in the Nepean Seniors Centre is required.
