The Creative Crafters have been active since 2002. Our group uses donated yarn and fabrics to make mitts, toques, scarves, quilts, placemats, and many other items.
These items are sold at the Annual General Meeting in September, the Christmas Breakfast, and from our display cabinets in the Heritage Room and on the concourse landing. All proceeds from sales are turned over to the Nepean Seniors Centre Management Board to use for events at the Nepean Seniors Centre. The Creative Crafters is actually the major fundraiser for the Centre.
Every year, we fill bags with warm clothes, toiletries, etc, and give the bags to the homeless.
Please join us every Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM in the Heritage Room. We will gladly teach those who are learning or refreshing old skills.
Membership in the Nepean Seniors Centre is required.
