The Fun Bridge Group meets in the Heritage Room every Friday afternoon, year round, from 1:00 to 3:30 PM. Many eager bridge players arrive as early as 12:00 PM and look forward to an afternoon of fun and relaxation.

There is no need to come with a partner – simply go to the first table that has an empty space for you. We do change partners and tables every half hour. We do not keep score and most of us avoid all the latest “twists” that might be favoured by pairs who play together regularly. We frequently have pairs who bid and make Slam or Grand Slam bids, but most of us are happy to play a challenging game among friends.

Many of our members have been coming out for years. Some of our members have only recently qualified to become members of the Seniors Centre and we have many who are nonagenarians and one centenarian – but everyone seems to enjoy each other’s company and the tales that they tell! Some of our members are snowbirds and we don’t see them for months. Some members are skiers, cottagers, travellers – they always know they are welcome back to the Fun Bridge Group on Friday afternoons.
